About Us

Meet Sharon Bennett

Founder, God’s Daughters Divine Compassion Center

Sharon Bennett is a passionate advocate for women’s empowerment, faith-rooted leadership, and community transformation.

With years of experience in mentorship, speaking, and personal development, Sharon recognized a recurring pattern: many young women are capable, intelligent, and ambitious — yet lack access to structured guidance in financial literacy, emotional resilience, and faith-centered growth.

Rather than criticize the gap, she built a bridge.

God’s Daughters Divine Compassion Center was born from Sharon’s commitment to create safe, strategy-driven spaces where women can grow without shame or pressure.

Her approach blends practical tools with spiritual grounding — equipping women to strengthen their confidence, improve their economic stability, and step into leadership within their homes and communities.

Sharon believes that when a woman is emotionally whole and financially informed, her influence multiplies — impacting families, neighborhoods, and future generations.

Her work is rooted in compassion, clarity, and the conviction that strong women build strong communities

THE NEED | THE STATS!

The Atlanta Metropolitan Area includes the five counties of Fulton, Clayton, Dekalb, Cobb, and Gwinnett. Cobb County, like Atlanta, is home to a diverse population, but too many women face significant socioeconomic challenges, income disparity, limited access to education, unemployment, and a lack of community resident support. They're still underserved.  Especially, with women of color.

*According to the U.S. Census Bureau's 2023, women are 51.3% of the 776, 743 population. And 23.1% are aged 16-35 (93.730.)

*The overall Poverty Rate for women in Cobb County is 9.2%; and, 11.2% for the age group 18-34. This was in the Cobb Courier April 5, 2025. That's approximately 10, 499, with Poverty and Low-income is 60% for this age group. Approximately 50% are women of color.

* Unemployment for Cobb in 2023 was 2.8%, according to Georgia Department of Labor, Jan. 2023. According to the Bureau February 2025, unemployment has gone up to 3.6%, an increase of 0.3.

There's still so much work to do in our home of Cobb County. It's going to take ALL of us. Also, about 18% of young ladies in Cobb County have seriously considered hurting themselves at least once.
